Awesome episode !

Although, how come is Rahl able to resist Orden's magic ? I thought he had to be confessed while assembling the boxes :x

Legend of the Seeker is not being cancelled! The director of the series just posted on Twitter that they are beginning to work on Season 3.

The magic of Orden has the side effect of making you an evil tyrant... which Darken Rahl already is. It was Richard who needed to be confessed while assembling the boxes not to be corrupted by their power... this is what I understood!

Yes Rahl WAS a baneling, but remember "luca" Zedd's spell changed history which in turn changed Rahl &everything else.

even if history was changed... it would not change the fact that darken rahl wanted more power and seeked it by making himself a baneling, i believe the writers made a mistake, unless for some reason the writers would say that he got his hands on the magic water that zed's father developed that would make banelings back to normal... anyways, can't wait till the next episode, anyone know when it on the site?

I think to remember, that Rahl was revived in the body of lookalike Walter, so he isn´t a banling anymore anyway. Looking forward to watch final episode! Hurray!

I really hope they don't cancel LotS, I don't know what I'd do without my weekly fix!

Anonymous said...

anon you're probably right... once richard used the power of orden on him, they would have found out he was a baneling. Zed from their side must have known how to fix him, and they got the magic water and cured him (before his brother sold his fathers stuff)

ah... i *guess* the seeker has to finish the keeper in the new world. after all if keeper gone maybe all the effect will be reverse? Keeper doesn't reside in any world as mentioned in this episode...

Only the part of history changed which was unfluenced by cara. Zedd's spell made all unhappened what cara influenced by her life.

@Luca: Darken Rahl was a Baneling, i think the writer does only not think that this is very important in this episode. Maybe Rahl is killing a criminal each day, or he had healed by the magic water, there wasnt a reason why the water wouldnt exist in this dimension.

after watching this for a while.. im finding this is getting stupider and stupider with the crappy love plots. fine people want a romantic thing to happen once in a while.. but the dont want to watch week in week out 10 mins plus of soppy crap like has been happening. wont be watching next season if it keeps up. read the books and you will understand how much they have commercialized this show just to suit all your people with no real love lives

The way the story was told would leave the belief that the fire water to cure banelings was still in existence and the spring was still around for there was no reason to destroy it. However, there was still very limited knowledge of it and no one but Darken Raul knew he was a baneling. The only bs explaination left was if somehow Cara influenced him to seek more power, but that is going out on a limb. As for the romance, it keeps the female populace hooked so I doubt it is going away. It is still pretty original with the characters and usage of magic. I am so glad they broke away from the d&d style of cookie cutter ideas. Zed is cool.
